Why do you want to register? I'll be brief. It's a way to measure yourself up against the world for $20. Ok, that may sound scary but it's not really and it'll show you where your strengths and weaknesses are compared to most. I learned last year that my bar muscle ups were by far my weakest part of the open. And I was surprised on the one I scored the highest on (thrusters and burpees???) I was also able to see that I cut my overall placement in half from 2015 to 2016. That's a great thing to be able to track. One other cool thing is you can filter the results by age, region, state, etc and also create groups to include your other CF friends!

But I don't RX WODS... That's ok. They will have a scaled option that I'm 99% sure you will be able to do. If you do some WODs RX and some Scaled that's ok too. You can choose which version you do for each of the 5 Open WODs.

We're going to be doing the Open WOD every Friday for the next 5 weeks anyway so see where you stack up!

1. 4 Rounds for Time:
5 Power Clean & Jerks (III-155/105, II-135/95, I-115/80)
25 Wall Balls 20/14
10 Front Squats (same weight)
25 DUs (50 SUs)

REST 3 MINS AFTER EACH ROUND

*Treat each round like an individual WOD. Go all out each round!


2. Split Jerk
5 x 1, climbing in weight (hit a new PR if able)
