Just five short days ago we were all heart stricken with the news of losing a local hero, Justin Billa, while serving the great @cityofmobileal Immediately after hearing the news, all of the local CrossFit gyms reached out to one another knowing that something needed to be done to honor the life and service of Justin. So we’ve decided to come together and celebrate his life next Saturday at multiple CrossFit gyms all along the gulf coast doing a workout in his honor. One of the greatest things about the @crossfit community is our love of people, fitness, and merging the two in order push the boundaries of what a community truly can be. We honor those who have fallen before us, especially those who sacrifice their lives for the greater good, so next Saturday we will honor Justin with a Hero WOD in his name, “Billa” and we invite anyone and everyone to come participate whether you’re a veteran Crossfitter or never done it before. *JHCF class time will be at 8:30am* You can find the list of the participating gyms as of today on the last photo. Reach out to the gym closest to you to find out their times! It will be completely free, but we will be accepting donations. All money raised will go to the Justin Billa Memorial Fund which goes directly to the Billa family.
