Hello to all of the seasoned members and all of the newbies of CFIII! If you are fairly new I hope that you have felt welcomed, comfortable, excited about your future and of course I hope you have felt at home here.
This message is for all members and it is about multiple changes to our schedule. It is also about the On Ramp program that we need ALL members that have joined within the last, let's say, 3 months to participate in. Anyone that thinks they need the basics again is welcome to join.
First, let's go over schedule changes for everyone that are effective THIS WEEK. Please, please, please look at our calendar and really look at the time you are signing up for. A quick summary of the changes are:
*Class Time Change: Added 7AM classes on Mon, Wed and Fri with Randy!
*Class Time Change: Changed Mon-Thu to have the first evening class start at 5:30PM. Mon-Wed the second class is 6:30PM.
*Open Gym: Mon, Wed and Thu will have OPEN GYM time at 7:30PM at the same time as the On Ramp classes. If there are no On Ramp classes, there will not be an Open Gym at the time. This is just for the time being. The OPEN GYM time is for experienced members only. There will be no designated instructor. Experienced members can do the WOD at this time or work on a skill/strength. My only request is to be mindful and work around the On Ramp class please.
*New Class: One of my favorite additions is a MOBILITY/YOGA class! An instructor named Laura Watts will be coming and teaching us more mobility exercises to do on our own (VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT) and she will mix in yoga stretches as well. Bring your own mat if you need one (you can buy one cheap that doesn't have someone elses sweat and pride all over it.) IMPORTANT: There is a charge (more like an investment) for this class. If you would like to just drop in to this class it will be $7 when you arrive. If you'd like to add the option of going to all 4 classes during the month then we will add $20 to your monthly draft. This comes to $5 per class. Note: If you do not come to a class you do not get your money back. This option is for the members that know they will come every week. One last thing. This class is available to NON-CFIII MEMBERS as well for the same price so invite your friends!
ON RAMP: All new members please read this.
On Ramp is a 6 class (all classes mandatory) intro program that will teach you the fundamentals of what we do and how we do them. Coming out of this program you will feel more comfortable with our strategies, with our movements and with joining a regular Workout Of the Day (WOD.) You will also feel sore. We do very basic and quick workouts at the end of each class that will incorporate the movements that you have already learned. You will also get to meet and learn from the Masters themselves, Tim and Adrienne. There will be a graduation workout at the end of this program as well. :-)
We need you to complete the On Ramp program ASAP! We are starting tomorrow (sorry for the late notice.) Please sign up online for all 6 classes (in green.) You will probably have to inconvenience yourselves to make it to these class times but in the long run it will be better for everyone. IF you absolutely cannot make it to one or more of these classes let me know immediately and we will talk about it.
