5 Tips

1. Know your goal time and plan race accordingly

2. Run your own race/pace

3. Run relaxed (face, shoulders, etc)

4. Start pushing harder halfway through the race (you have to push it to keep the same pace)

5. Kick it at the end but early enough (around the last 400m)
